“Would you help me?” Balakrishna of Thudi village, Veeraghattam mandal, Srikakulam district, Andhrapradesh State, asked me on May 15 in the year 2003. A 100 % physically handicapped person can not do his prime daily activies of the day.
Now he is studing degree in commerce and learning PGDCA in computers. The interesting characterstics of this person is his confidence. He wish to teach to the students who are not able to study.
Balakrihna came to this lavel just because of sponsors generosity.
Generosity has got gratitude. The help that came generously is now paying off.
He wishes to acknowledge all the sponsors, by “Namaskara”
Namaskara is a sign joining two palms facingĀ sky in Indian tradition, accepting God in the opposite person.
You may accept his respect.
There are 120 more children to do the same
In the year 2003 I was spending my summer holidays in Thudi village. As I was teaching catecheism I came across a physically handicapped. His name is Balakrishna, age 17 years. I asked him how he was managing his life. He said by himself. My second question is about his studies. He said Intermediate ( pre-university) studies. He was a physically challenged person, yet he has somuch of will power to see more in life. Because life is beautiful.
First Blessed Virgin Mary Orphanage came to existence by the inmate of Balakrishna. Now to this day (19.07.2008) 120 children are there as in mates.
We provide food, clothes, shelter and education. All these orphan children go to school and have their residence in Blessed Virgin Mary Orphanage.
This is not a story…
but the present situation happening under the sky in Thudi village, Veeraghattam mandal, srikakulam district, Andhrapradesh state, 532460.
